Out of contract in July, Chelsea Youngster Dominic Solanke linked with a move to Liverpool. Reports suggest that 19-year-old’s demands of £ 50,000-a-week wages is too high for Chelsea . The striker is keen to leave the club he joined since he was 8 for Liverpool in a deal worth around £ 8 million. Scottish giant, Celtic also shows their interest in Solanke’s service.
Solanke has represented England national team up to under-21 level. He won several trophies with Chelsea Youth team, including FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League. He also won individual award as 2014/2015 Chelsea Academy Player of the Year. He made his first team debut as a substitute in the Champions League against Maribor, becoming the youngest Chelsea player to participate in the competition. Despite his succesful years in Chelsea Reserves, his loan move to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem last season has been less impressive. He makes 25 appeareances in Eredivisie, scoring only 7 goals in the process.
Solanke seems to growing frustated with limited opportunites in Chelsea team. He is yet to make a single minutes for Antonio Conte’s side. He only make the Chelsea bench 3 times so far this season.
